no internet

hi! this will be a quick update because we have no internet and we came out to panera just to update. just wanted to share some pictures of caleb as usual. he is getting to be so much fun...he responds to peek-a-boo and laughs when we tickle him. he is a joyful boy with lots of smile. he continues to sleep well, sometimes 15 hours with 2 daytime naps! we really don't know how long this will last, but we love our little sleepyhead. he loves his crib and his blankie. most of the time, he falls asleep right away with those two things. he likes to stand and still doesn't care much for tummy time. he is showing some signs of teething these days so it could be any day now! it's just been so wonderful seeing all these milestones.

before i get into the pictures, just wanted to say congratulations to miss harder, who recently got married!!! the pictures are beautiful. we love you and are so happy for the two of you!

ok, here are the pics! oh, hey...i managed to squeeze in two posts in april! yay!

caleb was happy to see auntie "e" for a short 2 hours!

aww...auntie or "e" fixing caleb's pjs.
morning fun time on the bed...

caleb on his exersaucer...he's still a little too short for it, so we put a pillow underneath his feet to support him.

laughter

it is sunday night at 9pm. another weekend has passed and once again, i am sad to go back to work. every weekend this happens. i have such a good time seeing jun and caleb all weekend and on monday, it's hard to leave the house again.

after being a mom for just 4.5 months, i am already beginning to understand how much love you have for your child. i understand that even though sometimes you get impatient, tired, and frustrated, one smile could put that all behind. i understand that even though your life changes completely and that it's so hard to have a life and do the things you want to do, it's ok. i understand the pride and joy your child brings. i understand that you would never be able to (nor want to) imagine life without your child ever again. i understand why parents have a hard time letting go when they grow up. i understand that many sacrifices that need to be made, but how no sacrifice is big enough for your child. i understand that you can not overworry. it's so amazing how in such little time, i am already able to experience and understand so many things that i didn't know before.

anyway....work has been ok. i look forward to coming home to jun and caleb everyday. but when i get home, i am so tired, but i still try my best to spend quality time with the two of them. jun has been doing well too. we still have a lot of decisions to make, but we know that everything will eventually fall into place. jun is wonderful. he wakes up at 5 with me, makes me breakfast, packs my lunch, and takes care of caleb all day. he tries to take pictures of caleb or record what he does so that i don't miss out on anything. what more can i say about my husband...

so...the milestone for caleb this time is he started laughing out loud. it is so unbelievably cute. we actually have a few video clips to share with all of you. have a great week everyone.

some pics and video clips...

caleb's nap time on our bed...tummy time on our bed...
he looks nothing like mommy, huh? it's all daddy!
hello!
caleb's first tiny fever. thank god it was not bad at all. his temperature was a bit higher after his 4 month immunizations, so daddy put a towel on his head. hehe...

jun took caleb out to meet with uncle young and aunt joo...they had a good time together.
pretty in red :)
caleb trying out the bumbo. he likes it because he likes sitting up now, but needs the support. however, he only likes it for 5 minutes. thanks stacy and mark for letting us use it!
jun put together our stroller and caleb tested it out. he seems to like it so far!

jun did this on photoshop. he made the california adventure sign into "CALEB" nice!awww...hugging daddy. caleb loves to "stand" now.
he smiles the most in the mornings...look at that smile, so sweet.
we put this hat on caleb because the sun was too strong that day.
we went to see wilfred and cindy's sweet baby girl...so is so precious, so tiny and adorable. sadie hsu...
they gave us so many cute baby boy clothes, thanks guys! we appreciate it so much. caleb says "thank you, evan guh guh!"

these are clips of 1. caleb laughing, 2. more laughing, 3. caleb responding to mommy when mommy says "mommy ching ching" (ching ching means kiss kiss)
check your volume so you can hear him laugh...hehe...

hope these make you smile...
