our family has been under the weather. i'm sure most of you know what we are talking about. it just goes around, from one to another. jun and caleb were sick at the same time. one night, they both woke up at the same time...3am with the same temperature...103. they were both achy and uncomfortable, so i stayed up with my two babies...both laying in bed. thankfully, their temperature both dropped a little and they went to sleep after 2 hours. jun is doing much better, but caleb is kinda feeling miserable. everything is hitting him at once. no more fever, but he is coughing and sneezing...congested...AND he's painfully teething. he's fussier than usual of course and needs a lot of hugs, but as usual, he's being a trooper. now...the bug got to me and i am sitting here congested and uncomfortable. this has not been a good week for the kim bunch in the health department!
caleb is walking so well now...it amazes us. i'm beginning to discover his personality more and more each day. he is a sweet spirited boy and very sensitive. he is also very observant and introverted. i know these things change, but his personality is definitely being revealed and i like what i see so far...but then again...i'll probably always like what i see because he is my son.
as for my adjustment here...it's a day to day struggle. i feel like i am just keeping myself occupied and not doing anything significant to make this place home. i really should try harder, but i don't know what to do even if i wanted to make this home. i'm just hoping time will solve all things.
so, as i promised, i tried to take more pics of washington and our life here...so here are the pics!
caleb loves bubble baths!

building blocks together...

caleb going for a ride...
caleb doing his tricks :) most of them are in mandarin though...
we taught him to raise his hand when we call his name...we learned that trick from "kylie sun!" because jun thought that was the cutest thing. next, i said, "i love you" and he blows a kiss. then i said, "nose," "tongue," head," and "ears." at the end, i told him to clap.
