lots of smiles...

this past week, caleb starting smiling a lot! you can see by the pictures we posted this time that there are many smiles :) he is so cute when he smiles. he loves it when we talk to him in a high-pitched silly voice! he's also making so many noises now as if he's communicating with us when he's happy or uncomfortable. crying is not his only way to communicate, which is so nice. he is a hungry little one and eats often. he screams when he doesn't get food, so we call him our little monster. he's growing so fast and getting heavier and heavier. next week is his doctor's appointment, so we'll see how much he really grew. we know roughly how much he weighs because jun stepped on the scale with him. we think he's 11 pounds now at 10 weeks.

we were watching tv while caleb napped. when we looked over, he
was already up and staring at us. knocked out on mommy's shoulder. i love when he sleeps over my shoulder, but he's getting heavier so i usually have to put him down after awhile.
he's getting better at holding up his head, but still can't do it for long.
